About This Pub
You know, chatting about The Kings Arms, it's one of those places that really hits the spot for a relaxed evening out. The atmosphere is just lovely – think cosy nooks and a welcoming buzz that makes you feel right at home, especially with the live music and entertainment keeping things lively. The beer selection is spot on, and the staff are genuinely helpful, often going above and beyond like with their great recommendations or being super accommodating for dogs. That Sunday carvery is a real winner too, with delicious, high-quality grub that's perfect for a family get-together. On the flip side, it's not all smooth sailing; I've heard tales of food mishaps, like expired sauces that leave a bad taste, and complaints not being sorted out properly, which can be frustrating if you're hoping for a seamless visit. If you're eyeing the rooms upstairs, they might feel a tad cramped and noisy, and the breakfast doesn't always impress. All in all, it's a solid choice with plenty to love, but keep those eyes open for the odd hiccup – still, I'd say it's worth popping in for the good vibes and a cheeky pint.

Cons
-
There have been some dodgy experiences with food, like expired sauces on burgers, which can put a real dampener on things.
-
Handling complaints isn't always up to scratch; you might end up waiting ages or not getting a refund, which feels a bit off.
-
If you're thinking of staying over, the rooms are on the small side and can get quite noisy from the pub below.
-
Breakfast options are a bit limited and not always satisfying, leaving you wanting more variety.

Expired sauces served with burgers.
Complaint dealt not very well. I was left waiting, while serving other customers.
No refund offered; order wasn’t re-fired.
Just a drink was offered, but we went there to eat.
Disappointing.
Check before you eat.
I absolutely love this pub! The atmosphere and great service/bar staff is really something that I come back for, especially Lily her service is fabulous (and also has great beer recommendations). It is such a bonus with the entertainment there with the occasional live music, entertainment room with the pool table and darts and live sports on so the atmosphere couldn’t get any better. I also had the Christmas dinner here back in December and I cannot recommend this place enough to my friends.

The Kings Arms is a lovely neighbourhood pub with a cozy and welcoming atmosphere. It offers a great selection of draught beers, making it a perfect spot to unwind with friends or enjoy a quiet pint. Whether you’re a local or just passing through, it’s a charming place that’s definitely worth a visit.
The rooms were really small, the bathroom door wouldn't close , the toilette wouldn't flush properly. The breakfast was the same few things every morning, which wasn't always satisfying. The place is above a pub which makes it really loud and a bit overwhelming. However the transport is really great, an Elizabeth Line metro station is nearby.
Lovely Sunday carvery today. The landlord Chris and the rest of his team couldn’t have been more accommodating.
We phoned ahead for a dog friendly table and were sat right by the fire - great to dry off the soggy dogs.
The carvery was excellent - super quality food - and they offer a smaller portion for those that don’t want to go too large.
Great selection of beers including Proper job and also Hawkstone.
All in all a perfect place for Sunday Lunch on a cold wet afternoon.
