About This Pub

Ah, The Jet Pub – it's one of those classic spots in Leamington Spa that you hear mixed things about, and from what I've gathered from the reviews, it's got that real community feel going for it. I reckon the staff are the stars here; they're described as genuine and full of heart, always ready with a smile and a laugh, which makes popping in for a drink feel like catching up with old mates. The karaoke on Saturday nights sounds like an absolute riot, with a DJ who knows how to keep the energy up with a brilliant selection of music – perfect if you're in the mood for a singalong and some light-hearted fun. It's clearly a favourite among locals for that down-to-earth vibe. On the flip side, though, a few folks have mentioned it can get a bit scruffy and intimidating at times, almost like it's lost its shine in places, which might not be ideal if you're after a more refined evening. Then there's the noise issue; it seems they start up with the music and chatter earlier than advertised, which has ruffled some feathers in the neighbourhood. All in all, if you're up for a straightforward, no-fuss night out with good company, I'd say give it a try – it's got plenty of charm, but it's not without its warts, so keep that in mind before you head over.

Pros and Cons

Pros
  • The staff are genuinely friendly and always up for a chat, making you feel right at home.
  • It's got a lively atmosphere with great karaoke nights on Saturdays – the DJ's spot on with a mix of classic tunes that get everyone involved.
  • A proper local spot where the regulars are welcoming, and it's just a solid place for a casual pint and some good vibes.
Cons
  • Some bits can feel a tad grimy and unwelcoming, which might put a few people off if they're after something a bit more polished.
  • There are complaints about noise from the garden starting early, which could disturb the peace for nearby residents or early birds.
  • Opening times aren't always stuck to, as they say 12:30 but things kick off sooner, leading to a few frustrations.

Pub has a terrible atmosphere. Very grimy and scary. Additionally, they claim to open at 12:30 but start playing extremely loud music from the garden and drinking and talking very loudly from odd hours of the morning on days when neighbours are trying to sleep in, and I know many people have complaints about this. Similarly, they blast music late into the night even on school nights when there are children in the neighbourhood. Seems to be more of a rude friendship group of boys who never matured rather than a pub.
