About This Pub

Ah, The Humber – it's one of those pubs that just hits the spot for a laid-back get-together. From what I've gathered from the reviews, the staff are absolute gems, always cheerful and helpful, whether you're popping in for a quick pint or hosting a birthday bash. The prices are fair and won't leave you rummaging for change, and the place is kept spick and span, with a cosy feel that makes it easy to settle in. There's even a pool table and real ales to keep things interesting, plus handy parking out back. On the flip side, it's pretty much your typical local spot, so if you're craving something a bit more out-of-the-ordinary or upscale, you might find it a touch ordinary. And without a website, it's not the easiest to plan ahead, but overall, with a solid 4.3 rating, it's clear this place knows how to keep folks coming back for more – I'd say it's well worth a visit if you're in the area and fancy a no-fuss pint.

Pros and Cons

Pros
  • The staff are incredibly friendly and always ready to lend a hand, making you feel right at home.
  • Prices are spot on for a good night out – drinks and food won't break the bank, which is always a win.
  • It's spotlessly clean and well-kept, with a cosy atmosphere that's perfect for relaxing or catching up with mates.
  • A great spot for events like birthday parties, with plenty of space and a welcoming vibe.
  • They've got real ales on rotation, a pool table for some fun, and even parking at the back, which makes it dead convenient.
Cons
  • It might feel a bit like your standard local pub without anything too unique to shout about, so if you're after something fancy, it could disappoint.
  • The online presence is a tad lacking with no website, which means it's trickier to check details before heading over.

Nice quiet pub. Friendly landlady. Real ales on rotation. Huge bar and saloon area. Both well kept in good condition. Typical cavernous and luxurious suburban Coventry pub.

If your looking for a traditional Sunday dinner The Humber has it. All cooked from fresh, great value and great 1920 surroundings. My son even said it was a nice dinner too 👍🏼
