I haven’t stayed at the hotel but I often pop in for drinks and a meal as The Hound is located on the High Street, and there is always a good vibe. Their Roast is lovely, with great veggie options. Definitely call and book for the garden, especially in the summer!
Tasty, well presented and good produce meal! Really recommend. We had the ham hock croquettes, and then shared the Chicken & Bacon Cobb Salad and the Fried Chicken Burger. The ranch dressing in burger was so good. As was the fresh dill and dressing with the salad. Will be going back!!
I had a lovely lunch here. I heard great things about their beer fried fish and chips and I wasn't disappointed! I will definitely return for another round, but can I say, as a disabled wheelchair user, it was little tricky to get inside because of the step, but the lovely customers helped me inside and so all was good in the end!
Right in the heart of Chiswick, The Hound offers delicious meals in their internal courtyard. We were lucky to try the Easter Special - chicken was tender and soft on the inside, and perfectly crispy on the outside. Sauce was outstanding. To top it up, a great orange cheesecake (that wasn’t either too bitter or sweet, just perfectly fresh). Atmosphere is nice and versatile. Competitive price point. Recommended
Had an early Sunday dinner at The Hound - been meaning to go for food for a while now - and we weren't disappointed. Definitely one of the best places in Chiswick to go for a roast. The service and atmosphere were also very good. Yes, it is a tad more expensive than some of the other local options, but I definitely think you get what you pay for. If we had one (very minor) gripe it was the roast potatoes could have been a bit crunchier, but they were still good! Would highly recommend.
