About This Pub
Ah, The Horseshoe & Castle – it's one of those gems you stumble upon and think, 'Why haven't I been here sooner?' Tucked away in a picturesque village, this place nails the classic English pub experience with its top-quality food, like those mouthwatering Sunday roasts packed with local flavours that leave you feeling well satisfied. The team behind the bar are an absolute delight, always up for a chat and making sure everything runs smoothly, which adds to that welcoming atmosphere. Plus, if you're after a stay, the rooms are comfy and they've got that dog-friendly touch, making it ideal for a weekend getaway. On the flip side, though, the hours can be a tad flexible, so you'd want to double-check to make sure they're open, and it's a bit off the beaten track, which suits a planned visit rather than a quick stop. All in all, it's a solid spot for good times and great memories, but go in prepared and you'll have a cracking time.
