About This Pub
Ah, The Hind in Rotherham – it's one of those pubs that just feels like a proper local gem, you know? From what I've gathered from the reviews and details, it's got this welcoming atmosphere with spacious seating and cosy open fires that make you want to settle in for the evening. The food is a real highlight; people are raving about the delicious pub grub, from the silver buffet that's perfect for gatherings to those Sunday roasts that sound mouthwatering. And the staff? They're top-notch, always friendly and attentive, which really makes a difference when you're out with friends or even for something like a family event. It's got a good variety of menus too, so whether you're after something light or a full meal, there's something for everyone, and those deals on the app are a nice touch for keeping things affordable. On the flip side, it can get quite busy, especially at weekends, and that might mean a wait for your food or a table, as one reviewer had a bit of a disappointing experience with slow service on their birthday. Still, with an overall rating of 4.1, it's clear most folks have a great time, and I'd say it's worth a visit if you're in the area – just maybe book ahead to avoid any hitches. All in all, it's a solid spot for a relaxed drink, a bite to eat, or catching up with mates, balancing out the good with the occasional busy moment.

We were there for my Mum's wake we had the silver buffet Plenty of cooked food it was lovely (hardly anything left) We had a lovely afternoon were made to feel very welcome and the staff were great It's a really nice pub and beer garden with plenty of parking spaces 😁
Been a few times recently, the service and food is excellent. Would really recommend. I would book a table if visiting at weekends as it can get very busy as we found out but the staff coped very well
Booked a table for 2 at 6.45pm for my birthday 9 April, we arrived 6.40pm drinks served straight away no problem, went to our table, we ordered food at 6.50pm. Still not arrived at 7.35pm my husband went to speak to what we assumed was the manager, said he would ask, came back said would be 4 or 5 minutes, but no apology. Our meal finally arrived at 7.50pm again no apology. First time there & will be the last! An hour wait for food is unacceptable.
Food is amazing.
I recommend the rib of beef Sunday roast!
Kevin was lovely. He took good care of us. Very friendly.
Service was great!
Love the open fires and the calm atmosphere
A really nice evening. The pub is spacious, which is nice as you don't feel that tables are on top of each other.
The staff were very friendly.
The menu is varied, and reasonably priced.
Our meals were very good, freshly prepared and nicely presented.
The App also offers some good discounts and worth checking out before you go.
