About This Pub

Ah, The Great Northern – it's one of those pubs that really captures the heart of a local community, isn't it? From chatting with folks who've been there, I reckon it's got this lovely cosy feel, where the staff go out of their way to make you feel welcome, and the music adds just the right buzz to the air. The drinks are spot on for the price, making it a go-to for a relaxed evening without breaking the bank. But, let's be honest, it's not all roses; there was that one off experience where someone mentioned a nasty smell and feeling like they weren't quite fitting in, which is a shame because it can come across as a bit exclusive if you're not part of the regular crowd. Still, with most people raving about the atmosphere and service, I'd say it's worth giving it a go if you're in Luton – just keep an open mind and you'll likely have a grand time.

Walked in, was told we "looked like we had attitude", place stunk of weed and something else horrible. Do not reccomend this place. It seemed very clicky and we didn't make it past the front door before turning around and leaving.

This is my local, I would give the atmosphere 10 stars if possible. Always pleasant and prompt service and I'm pleased to call the management friends. A very cosy place to enjoy a pint of ale.l
