Ah, The Grand Restaurant and Bar – it's one of those places that really grows on you if you're in the mood for some proper Indian fare. I have to say, the food is a standout; those flavours are spot on and come at a fair price, making it a solid pick for a casual meal or even sorting out an event with mates. The team there are dead helpful too, always quick with a smile and getting things sorted without any fuss. On the flip side, though, it's a bit of a letdown when the opening hours aren't bang on, as I've heard stories of folks trekking miles only to find it shut – proper annoying that. And don't get me started on the drinks; sometimes the bar's not even open, so you're stuck with just water or a Coke, which isn't ideal for a relaxed evening out. All in all, it's worth popping in if you're nearby and fancy a bite, but maybe give it a quick check first to avoid any disappointments – keeps things balanced, you know?

Cons
-

Opening hours can be unreliable, leading to wasted trips if they're not up to date.

-

Some dishes fall short, like the aloo tikki, which one person found a total waste of money.

Drink options are quite limited, with the bar not always open and only basics like water and Coke available.

It can feel a bit quiet at times, which might not appeal if you're after a lively vibe.

I’m order alow tikki and spicy chips it’s totally waste of money 💴
Food was very nice, staff was friendly. Very quiet, bar wasn’t open, only water and coke were available at the time of the visit.
Great food! Amazing drinks! And to top it all off, fast and friendly service!
Such yummy food, for reasonable price. It’s far better than other indian restaurants food the taste and price . Lovely, owner… nice staff and superb chef. Great for events too.
