About This Pub

You know, when I think about The Golfers Arms, it just brings a smile to my face – it's one of those pubs where you walk in and instantly feel welcome, thanks to the lovely staff who go out of their way to make sure everyone's having a good time. The Sunday carvery stands out as a proper treat; folks rave about the generous portions of meats and veg, and those desserts like the lemon curd cheesecake are something special – I reckon you'd be hard-pressed not to go back for seconds. They've got entertainment nailed too, with karaoke sessions and meat raffles that add a bit of excitement and laughs to the day. Prices are spot on for what you get, so it's easy on the wallet, which is always a plus when you're out for a casual pint or meal. On the flip side, it might not always be the liveliest place; some reviews mentioned it being quiet at times, which could be a downside if you're in the mood for a packed house. And while they've got a Facebook page, it's not the most detailed online setup, so you might need to pop in or call ahead for the full scoop. All in all, it's a solid choice for anyone looking for a welcoming pub with good grub and a bit of fun – I'd say give it a go if you're in Great Yarmouth, you won't be disappointed.

A really great fun atmosphere with plenty of laughs and great karaoke songs and singers and hosts. The landlord and lady and bar lady, are such lovely, friendly people. Always a warm welcome from. My partner and I love goung here and we now live only 5 minutes walk to the place. They also do a carvery too on sundays (bookable.) Very highly recommebded.

My friend and my self stopped at golfers arms on the way to somewhere else, it was very quit infact we were the only ones at this side of the bar, the landlord was very helpful I had a cup of tea and my friend had a Coca-Cola with plenty of ice, the landlord helped me take it to our table as I gave a walking stick. It was a pleasurable first time there

The landlord and staff are very friendly and attract a lovely crowd of regulars. The Sunday carvery is very popular, reasonably priced and is absolutely delicious. As are the puddings available, I highly recommend the lemon curd cheesecake. They also have live entertainment too. Spent a fabulous Sunday afternoon there great food, nice people and enjoyed music from Ivan and Ronnie.
