About This Pub
Ah, The Glen Tavern – it's one of those pubs that really warms your cockles on a chilly Dunfermline day. From what I've gathered chatting about it, the food is a standout; think hearty steak pies and piping hot dishes that leave you satisfied. The staff are just lovely, always polite and quick to serve, which makes for a pleasant experience whether you're popping in for lunch or a relaxed evening. It's got that cosy, community vibe that's hard to beat, and with a high rating like 4.5 from heaps of reviews, it's clear most folks are fans. On the flip side, though, I've heard a few grumbles about the portions being a bit on the small side, and at nearly £15 a head, it might feel pricey if you're after something more filling. There's also talk of changes with the new owners, and while some are excited, others who were regulars aren't so keen anymore. All in all, if you're in the area, it's worth a try for the good grub and friendly faces, but keep an eye on what you're ordering to avoid any disappointments – just like you'd advise a mate before they head out.

Former regular customers with previous owners, would normally have a meal at least once/twice per week, but to be honest we won't be going back
The food itself was lovely , we both had steak pie however the portions were stingey and that's being polite.
£14.95 pp is very expensive.
I understand that the new owners have not long opened however, no experienced staff behind the bar, young teenagers that didn't know how to operate the card machine, till or the difference of lagers that were available 😞
Went for lunch with my wife since the new owner took over. Wonderful food. Service was efficient, friendly and very polite. Value for money. I’d highly recommend.
Visited on its re opening. Big changes with the booths gone but staff were very friendly and the chardonnay was delicious. Can only hope the regulars return and support the tavern. Great wee boozer
Brilliant food.
Excellent staff
Lovely little pub, often driven past and overlooked, will be returning soon.
10/10 faultless
Love this place. Such a friendly cosy restaurant. My husband and I visited today as we received a voucher for Christmas. Food was piping hot and delicious. We were served quickly and didn’t wait between courses. Staff are excellent and very attentive. Prices are reasonable compared to other restaurants. Sarah the owner is lovely and also Graham. Thank you to Ciara and Kelsey who served us. All in all a lovely visit ☺️
