Food average . Worst nachos iv ever had . On match day the bar was rammed which is expected but now adays u need table service like hungry horse or weatherspoons . Easy u order via app it comes to ur table .

Cracking pub in the city centre, very spacious and lots of friendly people in there including the staff. We had a couple of drinks in there yesterday and a nice bit of conversation with the people on the next table. It did seem understaffed though and this deterred us from staying for food as the long wait at the bar was too much for me. We've eaten there several times previously and it's always good. Shall soon be back. 🙂

I am part of a gaming community who frequent the George Wallis every other Tuesday night, and have done so for almost two years. We absolutely LOVE this pub. The food is well priced for its quality, always delivered promptly and with a smile. The staff are all very personable and pleasant, and there is always such a lovely vibe. Massive shout out to Steve, Abi, Ruby, Katie and Naomi!

Hired the upstairs function room for a DJ night, got the bar open, decent food served and cocktails served up there, good space for a dancefloor, two disco balls, projector and screen and staff really helpful in the run-up and on the night. Would hire again!

Although food was not that great, the service was very good! Professional staff and speedy service. The woman with the funky multi colour hair and coloured brows was very cheerful and bubbly, first time I came here with my mum after doing some shopping. Nice environment, very spacious and clean.
