About This Pub
Ah, the Goose in Fulham, what a spot it is for a relaxed get-together or a cheeky night out. I've got to say, it's got that classic pub charm that's so inviting; you step inside and it's like being wrapped in a warm hug, with a real local feel that's become a rarity these days. The staff are an absolute delight – always bubbly and ready for a chat, which really makes the place shine. Then there's the food and drinks; they're spot on, with hearty portions on things like the Sunday roast and a cracking selection of beers and cocktails that won't break the bank. Pop out to the garden on a sunny day, and it's bliss, especially if you've got the dog in tow. It's also fantastic for watching the footy or catching live music, making it a go-to for Chelsea supporters or anyone up for a bit of community spirit. But, let's be fair, it's not all perfect – I've heard a few grumbles about the accessible toilet not being as reliable as it should be, which is a shame and could put some off. And while the food's generally great, there are times when portions feel a bit skimpy, like with the chips on the fish and chips. Overall, though, it's a solid choice for a pint and a catch-up; just keep those little downsides in mind, and you'll have a cracking time.
Pros and Cons
Pros
-
The atmosphere is just spot on – it's that comforting, traditional pub feel that's hard to beat, making you feel right at home from the moment you walk in.
-
Staff are always cheerful and welcoming, adding a real personal touch that makes every visit feel like catching up with old mates.
-
Food and drinks are top-notch with reasonable prices; think generous portions of classics like roasts and a good selection of craft beers and cocktails to suit all tastes.
-
It's got a lovely big garden that's perfect for soaking up the summer sun, and it's pet friendly, so you can bring the dog along for the fun.
-
A brilliant spot for live sports, events, and even live music on Mondays – ideal if you're a footy fan or just fancy a bit of community vibe.
Cons
-
There are some accessibility issues, like the accessible toilet not always being up to scratch, which could be a letdown for those who need it.
-
Portions on certain dishes, such as fish and chips, might leave you wanting a bit more, based on what some folks have mentioned.
-
It can get a tad chaotic during busy times, like match days, so if you're after a quiet pint, you might have to time your visit just right.

I’m in here very often, had my 21st in here 12 years ago. Hasn’t changed. Still the same amazing locals, staff are all happy and bubbly. Food/drink is top notch with reasonable pricing and a nice big quality garden for the summer. Rarely go anywhere else. Come and join us down the goose!
A large pub in an easily accessible position. It has a small garden. It has live music on Monday nights. Food is good but they could give a few more chips with the fish and chips. A comfortable pub in which you can have a good time. Has sport on TVs.
Friendly staff but I keep having to raise the point about the accessable toilet. As a permanent wheelchair user. The accessable toilet is left open for everyone to use and has no radar lock on it. Its very often left in a state. It has been flooded and quite often the toilet seat is broken. It's used by everyone. Being paraplegic is hard enough but when you have to constantly put your point across wherever you go and keep raising this concern. I was told that the company have refused to keep it locked due to complaints and it being broken open in the past. I was out this sunday evening for my mums birthday with friends. And again the toilet was left in a state where the seat had been broken off and there was urine all over the floor making it extremely dangerous for me to transfer from wheelchair to the toilet safely without slipping on a wet floor. I had to be accompanied by a friend everytime to make sure I was safe. I shouldnt have to put up with when i go out.The main toilets are downstairs yet everybody hidden and not hidden disabilities are allowed to use it which isn't fair for people like me who have no other option but to use it as I cant go down the stairs. Please can this be raised and taken more seriously. It really is a big deal for someone in my position. I took some pictures of the toilet on Sunday night and it really isn't acceptable. I would appreciate an acknowledgement on the matter raised and hope the changes can be made. I took some photos of the toilet on Sunday night to show how it gets left on quite a few occasions.
Really great local pub especially if you are a Chelsea fan!
We were visiting London and visited twice as we were staying next door.
It was absolutely buzzing with people getting around the football
Ordered the roast on the Sunday and the portions were absolutely generous!
Also tried their jalapeno and fish & chips! Really delicious.
Great spot if you’re looking to watch the football with mates!
Me and 3 friends came for xmas catch up with food and drinks. The 3 course meal was very nice and worth every penny. 2 of my friends did not order a pudding but the pub thought they did. They were very kind to still give them the pudding which was really nice of them. Gary was our waiter for the evening and he was brillant, very professional and chatty always asking us if the food and everything was ok through out the evening.
Thank you to Gary and for the lovely food from all of us. We can recommended this pub and will defo eat here again
