About This Pub
Ah, Vagabond Wines in Fulham – what a delightful little spot it is, isn't it? From the moment you step in, you're greeted by this warm, inviting atmosphere that just begs you to unwind and explore. I love how they've got these self-pour wine machines that let you sample a huge array of wines at your own pace, turning a simple drink into an exciting experience without breaking the bank. The staff are gems, always on hand with tips and recommendations that make you feel like you're chatting with an old friend who's in the know. Pair that with some cracking small plates and sharing boards, and you've got a recipe for a memorable evening, whether it's a romantic date or a catch-up with pals. On the flip side, though, it's pretty wine-centric, so if you're after something stronger or a pint, you might find yourself a tad underwhelmed. It can get a bit crowded on busier nights, and the prices add up if you're not careful, but overall, it's a solid choice for anyone wanting to dip their toes into the world of wine without the fuss. I'd say it's well worth a visit if you're in the area – just go with an open mind and a sense of adventure!
Pros and Cons
Pros
-
The self-pour wine machines are an absolute blast – you get to try over 100 wines by the glass, making it feel like a fun, interactive adventure rather than just a standard night out.
-
The staff are incredibly knowledgeable and welcoming; they really make you feel at home, whether you're a wine novice or a seasoned enthusiast.
-
It's got a cosy, laid-back atmosphere that's perfect for date nights, catching up with mates, or even hosting a private event – that iconic long oak table is a lovely touch.
-
The food selection is spot on, with tasty tapas-style small plates and sharing boards that pair brilliantly with the wines, like that charcuterie board everyone's raving about.
-
Being in Fulham, it's conveniently located and has a great local vibe, ideal for popping in after work or on a weekend stroll.
Cons
-
It might not be the best spot if you're not into wine, as the focus is heavily on vino rather than a wider range of drinks like beers or cocktails.
-
Prices are on the moderate side, so it could feel a bit pricey for a casual evening if you're watching your wallet.
-
The place can get quite busy, especially during peak times, which might make it tricky to snag a table or enjoy a quiet chat.
-
With varying opening hours, like earlier closes on Sundays, it might not suit late-night plans or spontaneous visits.

Honestly, if you’re looking for something different; this is it.
The fact that they’ll have 56 bottles that you can sample at anywhere from £1.40-£6 per 25ml turns it into a fantastic and affordable wine tasting experience, with AMAZING members of staff with wealths of knowledge that is incomparable to any other winery I have visited. Gone are the days of paying 10 to hope that your glass of wine is to your liking; I spent £15 on an endless array of 25ml tasters, narrowing my palate down and in turn buying two of my favourite bottles for only £30. Bargain. With free samples from the chatty staff, sharing our interests in flavour profiles I thoroughly enjoyed my experience and will 100% be returning in the future. Cheers to Nico and all of the staff at Vagabond Fulham!
My partner and I stopped by chance as we loved the look of this place. We were served by a lovely gentleman Nico who provided exceptional customer service, made us feel welcome and introduced us to a fantastic selection of wines. We love the concept of this place and it’s a great affordable option for doing wine tasting and finding what you love!!
Vagabond Wines in Fulham is one of our favourite spots! I went a few weeks ago with friends and, as always, we had a fantastic time. It wasn’t our first visit and definitely won’t be the last.
The staff are super friendly and welcoming, the selection of wines is excellent, and the food is really good too. It’s the perfect place to relax, chat, and enjoy a great evening. Highly recommended! 🍷
Amazing service, Ben was very knowledgeable and made us feel very comfortable. Would come back just to get their recommendations.
Especially after a hard week and also today being a big day celebration time.
The wine was excellent and really liked the interactive system.
A self service wine bar, but the best charcuterie board I had in a long time! I highly recommend the place for a date or evening with a long lost friend.
More than 35 bottles of wine you can test or order a glass. The place could even be perfect for wine testing before a wedding!
A little germ I did not know was so close to me.
