About This Pub
Ah, let me tell you about The Fork & Mustard – it's this lovely little cafe in Falkirk that's become a bit of a hidden gem for anyone passing through. With a solid 4.7 rating from heaps of folks, it's clear that the food really hits the spot; think fresh, tasty options that even handle food intolerances with ease, which is a real bonus if you're watching what you eat. The service stands out too – the team are so friendly and attentive, making every visit feel like catching up with mates. It's got that cosy, homely decor with fun signs on the walls, and being dog-friendly means it's spot on for a relaxed day out. On the flip side, it does get busy at times, so you might find yourself squeezing in or heading outdoors, and with doors shutting at 4 PM, it's more of a daytime treat rather than a late-night hang. All in all, if you're in the area for a bite, I'd say give it a go – it's a proper feel-good spot that delivers on the basics without fuss.

We were driving from Edinburgh to Glasgow and stopped for lunch in Falkirk. The Fork & Mustard was a spot I wanted to try. It is a really cute little cafe. When we came up, Stu, the delivery driver told us that there wasn’t any room inside, and so we sat outside. Stu was great, he suggested that I try the “Scottish Nacho’s”. Chloe, the server came out to greet us. She was a gem. My wife asked if they had any wine. Chloe laughed, and said “If we had any wine, we’d be drinking it ourselves, there’d be none left for you.”
I told her that I though that Haggis was the best kept secret, she said no, it was square sausage. We said we would try that along with Toastie and Chicken sandwich. The square sausage was great, but the Scottish Nachos were one of the best things I’ve every had. I can’t recommend this place enough if you in the area.
Fantastic place for lunch.

Food was delicious, filling and reasonably priced.
Before a long trip home popped in for breakfast. Great choice and really fresh and tasty food. Doggies were happy to relax under the table till they got their titbits.

Looked for somewhere that catered for someone with food intolerances. Couldn’t have found a better cafe than this one. My son was visiting from abroad and I was delighted with the service from everyone, including the owner. The quality of the food and how it was prepared was first class. Well done everyone!
If a small place like this can manage such a wide range of dietary foods they put the bigger, pricier restaurants to shame!
