About This Pub
Oh, let me tell you about The Five Elms – it's one of those pubs that just hits the spot every time. Tucked away in the lovely village of Weedon, it's got that classic British charm with a modern twist, using fresh local produce to create meals that are as inspiring as they are delicious. I love how they've nailed the balance of great food, like succulent roasts and beautifully balanced starters, paired with a solid selection of drinks that cater to everyone, whether you're after a pint of local ale or something softer. The team there are absolute stars, always on hand with a friendly chat and top-notch service that makes you feel genuinely looked after. It's brilliant for families too, with space outside and nearby spots for kids to play, and even a nod to dog lovers with facilities for your four-legged companions. That said, it's a bit off the beaten track, so if you're not up for a drive, it might not be the most convenient, and it does get popular, meaning you could face a wait if you don't book. All in all, though, it's a place I'd happily recommend for a relaxed get-together – the good vibes and tasty grub make it well worth the visit.

-
The atmosphere is charming and relaxed, blending that quintessential British pub feel with modern touches, making it ideal for a leisurely meal or a catch-up with mates.
Cons
-
It's tucked away in a quiet village, which means it might not be the easiest place to reach if you're relying on public transport or not local to the area.
-
With its popularity, it could get quite busy at peak times, so you might need to plan ahead to avoid disappointment, especially for Sunday lunches.
-
The operating hours seem a bit varied, particularly on Sundays, which might confuse things if you're hoping for a spontaneous visit on that day.

I can’t recommend The Five Elms enough! Whether you’re celebrating a special occasion or just looking for a fantastic meal in a warm and welcoming pub, this is the place to be. We’ll definitely be back again soon!
A charming pub, with great service, and excellent food. Venison starter was delightful, and the beef was a fantastic main, nicely cooked with a very flavourful carrot purée. Kids enjoyed their garlic doughballs starter and pasta or chicken goujons. Good value for money and would plan to be back!
Just had THE most amazing Sunday lunch at this gem of a place. Our welcome was warm and friendly. Ambience was cosy and relaxed. Food was simply amazing, great wine menu and good real ale.
Sunday lunch was superb
This is a “must do” restaurant !! The meats were so succulent and tender - we tried pork loin and beef
Both amazing!
The beef was soft and pink and the veg selection was lovely too - very generous portions of meat and fabulous gravy!
Perfect starters and desserts and the wine complimented the meal very well. An espresso martini finished it all off perfectly
Andrew is a wonderful host and we will definitely be back soon! Thank you 😊
