Me and the missus came here for our Valentines meal. I'd booked a table 5 days in advance with no issues (customer service here is great). We were seated and got our drinks without incident but we're then told there was an hour wait for food. I looked around and the place only had around 6/7 tables occupied and the biggest group was a group of 6. I asked the waitress to confirm the 60 minute wait and she did so, saying "it's the Just Eat orders". Now call me old school but wouldn't you think you'd serve the people who have taken their time to actually go to the pub and spend money at the bar first? We were disappointed but stayed and food eventually turned up. As usual, the food was great but I still felt like I'd been mugged off. The table of 6 behind us actually asked to cancel their order and get a refund but were told that their meals were "out next" I'll give it another chance but if it's the same, we'll be frequenting an alternative establishment in the future. Serve the people who are in the pub first, not the punters sat at home on their sofa! Or at least offer some sort of complimentary drink for the wait. Your pub was excellent prior to Just Eat. Don't let it kill you off.

I was ecstatic to go for a gracious meal with my family when this was indeed cut short. I ordered a Steak pie and had high hopes for it but that is then when I was presented with a cup of gravy and ‘steak’ with a ‘tossed’ bun on top. I don’t know if in the fens that counts as a pie but round from where I’m from it has to include pastry and love. Disappointing all around but willing to give this place another try, I just won’t be ordering the ‘steak pie’. Good day.

Purchased 4 adult meals, a side and a starter and a round of drinks. The food was absolutely gorgeous. Absolutely faultless. The chips were the best I’ve ever tasted, home made, beautiful! Parmo was perfect, burger was perfect, wrap was perfect, cod and chips were perfect, onion rings were perfect and potato skins were perfect. Barry was extremely helpful tending to the specific needs of 2 very picky teens. Excellent value and beautiful home cooked food. (We had already eaten half the wrap, so it was twice as much than in the picture). Sorry the pics aren’t great, the food was fantastic! Highly recommended!

Had a beautiful breakfast today. I only ordered a small breakfast but it was huge for me, beautifully cooked and presented with toast and a Cappuccino coffee. Great value, service very 😊 good. We will be back.
