About This Pub
You know, when you step into the Rossmere, it's like being welcomed by old mates – the staff are just so cheerful and accommodating, always up for a chat or helping out with whatever you've got planned, whether it's a casual meet-up or a big bash like an 18th birthday party. I love how they've got that real community feel, with regulars popping in for the familiar faces and events like karaoke that keep things buzzing and full of laughs. The beer garden's a bonus too; it's a lovely spot to kick back outdoors when the sun's out, complete with telly screens for a bit of extra entertainment. On the downside, though, it does get packed on those lively nights, so if you're in the mood for a peaceful pint, you might want to time your visit carefully or check for quieter spots. All in all, it's a solid choice for anyone wanting a genuine, down-to-earth pub experience in Hartlepool – I'd say give it a go if you're nearby, as it's one of those places that just makes you want to come back for more.

It can get quite lively and busy on event nights, which might make it a bit too noisy if you're after a quiet, relaxed drink.

Best pub in Hartlepool hands down
Rossmere Pub, Hartlepool – A Proper Gem of a Local!
Working away from home, I was looking for a decent pub to unwind, and I couldn’t have found a better spot than **Rossmere Pub** in Hartlepool. From the moment I walked through the door, I was treated like a regular – warm welcomes all around, and a fantastic atmosphere that instantly made me feel at home.
Lisa, the landlady, is absolutely top-class. She goes above and beyond to make sure everyone is looked after, and you can tell she genuinely cares about the place and its customers. The beer is spot on, the service is second to none, and the pub itself has that proper, old-school charm that’s getting harder to find these days.
If you’re in the area, do yourself a favour and pop in – you won’t regret it. Rossmere Pub is everything a great local should be – friendly, welcoming, and full of character.** Can’t wait to come back!
