About This Pub
Oh, let me tell you about The Fairfield Arms – it's one of those pubs that just wraps you up in a big, friendly hug the moment you step inside. From what I've gathered from the reviews, the landlords are absolute stars, always cheerful and bending over backwards to ensure you're having a fabulous time, whether it's sorting out veggie options or making sure your dog feels welcome. The ale is spot on and well-kept, paired with some proper tasty pub grub that hits the spot every time. That roaring log fire creates such a snug, inviting space on cooler days, and when the sun's out, the beer garden is a real winner with its beautiful flowers and seasonal decorations – it's like stepping into a little oasis. On the downside, it does seem to draw in a crowd that's a bit older, around 55 and up, so if you're after something more lively or youthful, it might not quite fit the bill. Plus, without a website, it's not the easiest to plan a visit online, but once you're there, you'll likely want to make it a regular stop. All in all, it's a gem of a place for a relaxed pint and good company, and I'd say it's well worth seeking out if you're in Bath.

It's wonderfully dog-friendly, making it a great spot if you're popping in with your four-legged mate.
Cons
-

There's no website listed, so it's a bit tricky to check details or book ahead without giving them a ring.

Recent Reviews
Lovely local pub with a friendly welcome, roaring log fire and well-kept ale. Tasty pub grub was served with a smile. Average age of drinkers on our recent early Saturday evening visit looked about 55, which suited me fine as I'm 62. If it was my local I'd be in there every week. Unfortunately my actual local is 80 miles away and packed with yoof. Ignore the 1 star reviews of this pub which are clearly malicious.
Fantastic food and very friendly landlords. Chris and Jamie always go above and beyond with their effort including my veggie sausages on the hob as soon as they saw me getting out of the car! Lovely atmosphere, spectacular seasonal decorations and beautiful floral garden we enjoy in the summer.
Chris and Jamie, are the most lovely welcoming landlords you could ever meet. We go to this delightful pub every time we visit Bath. They bend over backwards to make sure our visit is fab each time. I wish there were more pubs like this!! It’s well worth a visit and probably best to book in advance if you want food as it’s really popular!
Wonderful pub with lovely owners. They always go out of their way to make you feel welcome and are always so sweet to my dog too. Inside is spacious and cosy and the beer garden is absolutely stunning. Great food and great atmosphere.
Absolutely fantastic local pub! The food is great and the atmosphere is fantastic! Run by a friendly couple who always make me and everyone else feel welcome! One particular highlight to note… their beer garden is amazing… a spectacular floral delight… worth a visit in the summer (pick a sunny day and enjoy a beer in it)!
It is street parking so you might need to drive around for a minute to find a space… usually lots just up the hill… and only a minute or so walk away.
