About This Pub

Ah, The Factory Arms, it's one of those unpretentious pubs that just feels like a reliable old mate, you know? From what I've gathered from the reviews, folks absolutely love the value for money on drinks and even little treats like peanuts, which keeps things accessible without skimping on quality. The staff come across as genuinely warm and chatty, making you feel right at home the moment you walk in, and there's a nice mix of entertainment like live bands or a game of darts that adds to the fun. On the flip side, the operating hours look a bit confusing with varying times listed, so you might want to double-check before heading out to avoid any disappointment. Plus, it's a shame there's no website or online buzz, as that could make planning a visit easier, and with no recent feedback, it might not be the most vibrant spot lately. All in all, if you're after a straightforward, affordable pint in a welcoming setting, it's worth popping in—just keep expectations realistic for a classic local haunt.

Pros and Cons

Pros
  • The drinks are reasonably priced, making it a great spot for a casual pint without breaking the bank.
  • Friendly staff who create a welcoming atmosphere, perfect for catching up with mates.
  • A solid selection of beers and that classic old-school pub vibe, with things like darts to keep things entertaining.
  • Occasional live music or bands that add a fun, lively touch to the evenings.
Cons
  • The operating hours seem a bit muddled from what's listed, which might leave you guessing if it's open when you fancy a visit.
  • Not much of an online presence—no website or social media—that could make it tricky to check out menus or events beforehand.
  • With no recent reviews, it might not be as buzzing these days, so you could find it a tad quiet if you're after a lively crowd.

First time in here, a two piece band were playing. I am so glad that I came here, the prices were beyond fair and the entertainment was electric. Looking forward to more of the same
