About This Pub
Ah, The Eyna – what a lovely spot tucked away in Basildon! From what I've gathered from the buzz around it, this place really shines with its authentic Turkish and Mediterranean dishes that are packed full of flavour and beautifully presented; it's no wonder folks are raving about the food and those delicious cocktails. The atmosphere is spot on too, with a sophisticated yet inviting decor that makes you feel like you're on a little getaway, and the team there are absolute stars, always on hand with a smile and quick to check if everything's alright. It's ideal for a special occasion or a fun night out, especially with those summer drink specials that sound refreshingly good. On the flip side, though, it's not the cheapest option out there, so you might want to keep an eye on the bill if you're watching the pennies, and a couple of mentions about certain dishes being a bit fiddly or the music cranking up a notch could put off those seeking a more subdued vibe. All in all, it's a solid choice for a great meal and good times, but just go in with the right expectations for a balanced experience – I'd definitely recommend giving it a go if you're in the area!

-
The decor and overall aesthetic are smashing, with beautiful seating and lighting that make the place feel sophisticated yet inviting.
Cons
-
The menu can be a bit on the pricey side, so it might not be ideal for everyday visits – best saved for when you're treating yourself.
-
Some dishes, like the lobster, might not be everyone's cup of tea, as they can be a tad tricky to handle or not quite live up to expectations.
-
The music can get fairly loud, which adds to the lively feel but might make it hard to chat if you're after a quieter evening.

Food was great, atmosphere was lovely (went on Father’s Day) and service was brilliant- no complaints. The sticky toffee pudding? Exquisite! The cocktails were also delicious.
The atmosphere is very lively. Decor looks smashing, great seating and lighting. The music was fairly loud.
I believe there's a small dancefloor.
Enjoyed the food albeit the lobster wasn't making it easy for me!
Menu is pricey but understandable considering the interior decor.
Honestly had the best time! Huge thanks to my sister for the sweetest surprise—we came all the way from London for it 🥹. Can, Mustapha, Kubi, and the whole team were incredible! The atmosphere and aesthetic were beautiful, and the food? Absolutely stunning. Would 100% recommend!
5 Stars – Unforgettable Experience at The Enya!
From start to finish, The Enya delivered an incredible experience. The food was absolutely amazing — full of flavor, beautifully presented, and clearly made with care. The entire team was fantastic: friendly, attentive, and genuinely helpful throughout our visit.
We celebrated my wife’s birthday there, and the staff went out of their way to make it extra special. Their thoughtful gestures and warm hospitality really stood out and meant a lot to both of us.
I also visited while I was fasting, and I was blown away by how respectful and accommodating everyone was. They made sure I had everything I needed and made me feel completely at ease. That level of consideration is rare and truly appreciated.
A huge thank you to everyone at The Enya — we’ll definitely be coming back!
Amazing customer service from (Maria) as soon I walked in I felt welcomed. The food was amazing and the service is really good. All the staff are very polite and friendly and frequently come around to ask you if everything is good. Highly recommend as the food and the interior is really nice and clean.
