About This Pub
You know, chatting about The Emperor in Cambridge, it's got this warm, inviting feel that's just right for a relaxed evening out. The food stands out as a real winner – those Latin and Spanish flavours are spot on and make for a proper treat. Pair that with the friendly service, and you've got a place that feels like a go-to for good times, whether you're there for a drink or to let loose with some dancing on a Sunday. But, fair warning, it's not all smooth sailing; the music can crank up a bit too high, making conversations a challenge, and there are a few grumbles about the toilets not being up to scratch. That serious mention about drinks is a bit of a shocker too, so you'd want to stay vigilant. All in all, with a solid 4.2 rating from the crowd, it's worth checking out if you're nearby, just go in with your eyes open and enjoy the best bits while steering clear of the pitfalls.

Some folks have mentioned the toilets being a bit grubby and off-putting, which can put a damper on the experience.
-
The music can get a bit too loud at times, making it tricky to have a proper chat with your mates.

nice bar, stopped in to use the bathroom and had a drink. moderately expensive but not overly shocking considering it's a small bar in the middle of Cambridge. good service
I do not recommend getting any drinks there that are mixed ( only bottled ), make sure you watch the bartender make the drink as I made a mistake of not looking and I’m pretty sure something was put in mine and my friends drink, as this was the only one we had and we were sick and completely locked out from everything around us, we can’t remember most of our night ( and we didn’t even drink much). They also sell alcohol to teenagers and they don’t check ids. Overall wouldn’t recommend.
Went into the pub to get a drink the pub was so quiet and no one was in there just sat there on my own. The music was so so loud. It would be better the music was on a nice level. Went to the toilet the toilet was so bad and dirty.
Never again.

Omg it was a full journey of flavours in my mouth ❤️ I loved the food on Sunday adding the fact that I was doing what I love the most...dancing, it was the perfect Sunday in The Emperor! Was my 1s time of many for sure 🤩
This is one of my favourite places in Cambridge. It has amazing food! I've been there several times, I love the combination of Latin and Spanish dishes. Service is nice.
