This place was recommended to me, and went there just for the seafood platter, and absolutely loved it. Lovely place, lovely atmosphere, and oh that seafood! Everything super fresh and tasty, and really great value for that quality and amount of food. Lovely wine selection, too, and staff were so friendly and flexible with our booking. Absolutely recommended!
I had lunch here, the restaurant has a small intimate dining room with very professional, friendly staff who make you feel very comfortable.
The menu consists of both familiar and more novel dishes with an interesting twist. The food is absolutely superb I'm planning on going back and would recommend this to anyone.
I had a lovely dinner here a few weeks ago on a stopover in Harrogate on some business travel - Saturday night and though it was calm when we arrived, they were full throughout the evening from there on, so I do recommend booking as we had done. Overall, the food was very fresh and cooked very well - always something a little more tricky when it comes to fish restaurants in my opinion. Despite how busy it was, the staff were warm and very attentive - the ladies working on the upper floor that night clearly worked very well as a team. The baked alaska for dessert was a tad too sweet for mine and my dinner partners' taste, but that's certainly preference. If you like fish and seafood, you won't go wrong with a visit here.
