About This Pub

Ah, The Crown – it's one of those local gems in Langdon Hills that you hear about from mates and think, 'Why haven't I tried it sooner?' From what folks are saying, the food is genuinely brilliant, with excellent dishes and a lunchtime menu that's spot on for value, making it ideal for a relaxed meal. The staff come across as really approachable and helpful, and that quiet garden sounds like the perfect spot to unwind with a pint after a long day. It's got that homely feel that makes you want to linger. On the flip side, though, it's not without its quirks – like one time when someone popped in mid-afternoon and couldn't get anything beyond crisps and coffee, which is a bit of a shame if you're after a proper feed. Plus, the drink choices are limited, with no alternatives like soya milk, and it might feel a touch pricey for what you get. Overall, it's worth a visit if you're in the area, but maybe plan around their busier times to avoid any hitches – it's all about knowing what to expect for a balanced pub experience.
