About This Pub
Ah, The Cross Keys – it's one of those pubs that just draws you in with its welcoming charm. From what I've gathered from the reviews, the staff are absolute gems, always up for a chat and making sure everyone feels comfortable, which really sets the tone for a great visit. The drinks are a highlight too; they've got an excellent range of Hydes cask ales and plenty of options on tap, all at prices that won't break the bank – think a pint of Guinness for around £4.70, which feels pretty fair these days. If you're a sports fan, it's brilliant for catching live games with all those TVs dotted around, creating that electric atmosphere that makes you want to stick around for another round. They've even got live events like karaoke that can surprise you with how enjoyable they are, adding a fun twist to the evening. On the flip side, it does tend to get a bit lively and noisy inside, so if you're in the mood for a peaceful pint and a quiet catch-up, it might not hit the mark every time. And let's be honest, it's tucked away a smidge, so you might have to plan your trip if it's not on your usual route. All in all, it's a solid choice for a good night out – the high ratings speak for themselves – but it's worth knowing what you're getting into for the best experience.

Attractive, welcoming pub with friendly staff. Excellent Hydes cask ales. Not usually keen on hearing karaoke but there was surprisingly a lady who was superb. Also would be a good place to watch the live football games.
Great little pub friendly service and friendly people and great food
Great pub, which I make the effort to get to, as it’s a bit out the way of a crawl, especially from Davenport / Edgeley way.
Great for watching sports. Loads of TVs. Loads of different drinks on tap. Great prices.
Great pub! Good atmosphere! Lovely staff
Not much to complain about when it’s quiet outside but loud inside for those that like that, and vice versa. Also £4.70 isn’t obscene for a pint of Guinness
