About This Pub
Ah, let me tell you about The Crescent Hotel – it's one of those places that just warms you up from the moment you step in. From what I've gathered from folks who've been there, the staff are absolute stars, always bending over backwards to sort out any little thing you need, whether it's a recommendation for a local walk or just a friendly chat over a drink. The food's another highlight; it's hearty, well-priced, and hits the spot, especially if you're tucking into a meal in their restaurant or bar after a day out exploring. And the location? Spot on – you're just a stone's throw from the train station and those stunning Scarborough beaches and gardens, so you can wander around without a care. It's pet-friendly too, which is lovely if you're bringing along your furry friend for a jaunt. On the flip side, though, a couple of people mentioned the rooms being a bit compact, so if you're hoping for something more roomy, it might not quite fit the bill. Still, overall, it's a solid choice for a relaxed break, with that homely feel that makes you want to come back for more – I'd say it's well worth a visit if you're in the area.

-
There's a warm, family-run atmosphere that gives the place a cosy, welcoming vibe, perfect for a relaxing getaway or a quick drink.
Cons
-
A few rooms can feel a bit on the small side, which might not suit everyone if you're after more space to spread out.
-
It's a shame there's no clear info on operating hours, as it could make planning a visit a tad tricky at times.

Excellent food and reasonable priced in the restaurant and bar. staff are very accommodating. Would definitely recommend. 😋
Shared a wonderful 5 day 4 night stay with my parents. First time in Scarborough for me, & the Crescent didn't disappoint. Beautiful room, outstanding food, & the staff are wonderful. Nothing too much trouble, they will go above & beyond do to cater for your every need. Warm family feel, from the minute you walk in to the moment you leave. Will definitely return. Thankyou x
This is a quiet, reasonably-priced hotel at a walking distance to the train station, the town centre and the South beach area. There is a beautiful oval-shaped park across the street, with pathways leading to the seafront and the beautiful South Cliff gardens. Our third-floor room was on the small side, but nicely appointed. The wifi was excellent. There was no mini-fridge, however: perhaps something to consider in future renovations. The front desk staff was kind and always willing to help. An excellent option for a short visit to this stunning coastal town.
This was the first time we had stayed in the centre of Scarborough, and loved it. Perfectly placed to access all parts of the town and the resort, with no need to use the car.
The hotel itself was very comfortable and clean, with a variety of seating areas. The staff were very pleasant and the food was excellent, especially the evening meals.
We would certainly recommend The Crescent to our friends and would definitely stay here again,
This is a lovely hotel with incredibly friendly and helpful staff, tucked away in a terrace just off the centre of town. It overlooks a nice little park on the other side of which is Scarborough art gallery which is well worth a visit. The hotel room was spacious and the breakfasts were very good, with perfectly poached eggs and beautifully cooked mushrooms! A gem of a place.
