Ah, The Coach & Horses in Norwich – what a lovely spot it is, isn't it? From the buzz around it, the place really shines with its world tapas and real ale offerings; I've heard so many raving about how delicious the food is, like those tasty tapas that made one person's day extra special. The staff sound like absolute gems, always polite and ready with a smile, which makes the whole experience feel just right for a relaxed evening. It's got that great pub vibe with a solid selection of drinks that could keep you chatting for hours. And if you're out with your dog, it's a bonus that they're made to feel welcome too. On the flip side, it's not all perfect – one person had a bit of a letdown with the Sunday roast, mentioning uncooked veg and a disappointing pudding, so maybe it's best to stick to their strengths if you're planning a visit. All in all, with such positive vibes overall, I'd say it's well worth checking out for a good night out, just go in with an open mind and you'll likely have a cracking time.

Cons
-

Some dishes can be hit or miss, like the Sunday roast which one person found disappointing with uncooked peas and a burnt Yorkshire pudding.

Prices are moderate, but if the food doesn't quite live up to expectations, it might feel a tad steep for what you get.

Just been today and the food was delicious. We had tapas and was soo tasty. And dog very friendly. Happy Father’s Day to me 👍🏻
Lovely venue and delicious food! Would absolutely recommend the cranberry and fried brie . Lovely and polite staff despite us being more than a little late !
Price came to about £60 for 2 with 5 tapas 2 desserts and 2 drinks each, so about right!
Don't usually leave reviews for pubs but I had to for here. I only get round to visiting here a few times a year but every single time I do it is always exceptional. Always a fantastic selection of beers, and the food is not only very good but also great value. The excellent service tops it off. Super quick to serve you even when busy and very attentive too. It's clearly a very well oiled machine in terms of how it's run. Can't recommend it highly enough to be honest!
I’ve always enjoyed coming to this pub for drinks. However, I made the mistake of trying their Sunday roast, and I was extremely disappointed.
First off, the peas were uncooked and crunchy—almost as if they had just been defrosted and put on the plate. The Yorkshire pudding was flat, burnt, and unappetising. Honestly, I was shocked the chef thought it was acceptable to serve it like that. Considering how cheap and easy to serve a Yorkshire pudding right! That Yorkshire pudding tells a lot about the kitchen on its own.
The meat portion was small, and to make matters worse, it was overcooked to the point of being dry and tough. A roast dinner is supposed to be hearty and comforting, but this was anything but.
I’d still recommend this place for its drinks and ambiance, but I won’t be ordering food here again. If they can’t get a basic Sunday roast right, I don’t have much confidence in the rest of the menu.
Ah sure Jesus its a grand pub! Staff were utter gems and the atmosphere was on point! Pure gorgeous pint of stout and Jameson was on point.
