About This Pub

Ah, The Cellar Bar – what a lovely spot it is, tucked away right by Batley train station. I have to say, it's one of those places that just draws you in with its wide range of real ales and guest beers; you'd be hard-pressed not to find something tasty to sip on. The staff are an absolute delight, always up for a chat and making sure everything runs smoothly, which really adds to that homely feel. There's plenty to keep you entertained too, with a pool table, dartboard, and a jukebox that lets you pick a few tunes for just a quid – ideal for a fun night out. And don't forget the live music on Saturdays; it's a proper treat and gets the place buzzing. It's family-friendly as well, with outdoor seating for a breather and free WiFi if you fancy checking your phone. On the flip side, it's a compact space, so it might get a bit crowded during peak times, and those operating hours could do with being clearer to avoid any mix-ups. All in all, it's a solid choice for anyone after good drinks, a laugh, and a bit of that classic pub charm – I'd definitely recommend giving it a go if you're in the area.

Atmosphere was electric, probably had something to do with the band playing by the name of Cover2Cover. Prices and service was great, first time visiting but won't be my last. Highly recommend the venue and the band playing.

A nice quirky bar down a few steps. What’s gem of a pub. A short walk from the pub but if you follow the crowd you won’t miss it. It’s only a small pub but upstairs is the higher room. Toilets are upstairs and very clean with various smelly stuff for people to use. There’s a pool table if you fancy a game and several tv on the walls to watch the sports. Staff were very nice and service was quick.
