About This Pub
Ah, The Case is Altered – it's one of those pubs that just feels like a proper local gem in Pinner, you know? From what I've gathered from the reviews and their website, it's got this warm, inviting vibe that's perfect for everything from a casual drink to a full-on Sunday roast session. The food really stands out; they've taken classic pub fare and given it a fresh spin, with options for all tastes, including some brilliant veggie and vegan choices. Pair that with their selection of chilled beers, wines, and cocktails, and you've got a recipe for a great night out. The service gets heaps of praise too – folks say the staff are genuinely friendly and make you feel welcome, which is just what you want after a long week. And let's not forget the beer garden; it's a lovely spot to soak up the sun or catch up with mates, especially during events like the Six Nations. On the flip side, though, a few people mentioned the dining room can be a bit nippy, which might not be ideal if you're settling in for a meal. There was also that odd grumble about issues with tweaking orders, like swapping fries for something else, which could leave you a smidge disappointed. Overall, it's a solid choice with a 4.3 rating from loads of happy visitors, so I'd say it's worth a punt if you're in the area – just maybe dress in layers and book a table to avoid any queues!

Overall a very respectable three stars. Why only three stars? The main dining room was quite cold. Then the potential issue over switching out fries and the bread which meant a drop which I believe is totally fair in the circumstances. The saving grace being the ladies service were both very, very nice. I think one of them had to be the manager.
What I liked:
• Very good service
• Food served reasonably quickly
• No issues with sampling any of the wines before buying
• Fish and chips were good. Probably would have preferred more than a thimble sized portion of the mushy peas though and a few more fries.
What I didn't like:
• Being told the chef would need to be 'consulted' to see if it was ok to switch out chunky chips for fries on the fish and chips.
• The 'sourdough' and 'whipped butter' leaves a lot to be desired. (See the photos) Essentially a couple of slices of normal bread and some butter in a 2oz sauce pot for £5!

What you need to know!
A huge thank you for the amazing meal and service we received yesterday. 15 of us came to celebrate my daughter's 7th birthday, and everything was perfect – the food was absolutely delicious (the majority of us had roast dinners), and the service was incredible.
We truly appreciate the effort and hospitality, and I’ll definitely be back soon for another Sunday roast and more cocktails!
This is my favourite local pub! I’ve been coming here for years. Service is always friendly and welcoming, the drinks are perfectly chilled, and the atmosphere is spot on. The beer garden is a great place to catch up with friend and relax. Whether you’re stopping by for a quick drink or settling in for the evening, you can always count on a great experience.
Cozy pub and mostly regular local customers it seems. Lovely sitting arrangement inside and specially outside with beautiful decor and tables. Food is nice as well and the service was great despite the busy evening hours and sunny weather!
oldschool pub located in Eastcote. With free parking space and nice, clean and well maintained setting outside.
Quick service. Polite staff.
Just pop in for a quick drink on Sunday afternoon which was bit busy, we had a chance to enjoy our drink on the outside sitting.
So far so good, planing to come back to try food also.
