They've got this brilliant range of real ales and fine wines that any beer lover would appreciate, and the staff are ever so welcoming, making you feel right at home. It's got all the nice touches too, like a real fire for those colder nights, outside seating for when the weather's playing ball, and it's spot on for families or if you're out with your dog – no judgement there at all. The Sunday quiz night is a real highlight; it's a cracking way to end the weekend with a bit of friendly competition and a laugh. On the downside, they don't do food themselves, so you might need to sort that out beforehand or bring something along, which isn't ideal if you're after a full evening out. Plus, with doors opening at 4 PM and closing by 11 PM, it might not suit if you're looking for somewhere to start early or go late.
