About This Pub

You know, I had a lovely time at The Brompton Cross the other day, and it's one of those places that just feels right for a good old pub experience in London. It's got this brilliant atmosphere that's lively without being overwhelming, ideal whether you're popping in for a quick pint or settling in for a meal. The food really stands out – think hearty sausages and mash or a perfectly done Sunday roast with Yorkshire pudding that's spot on. And the staff? They're an absolute delight, always cheerful and ready to make your visit memorable. Those live piano evenings add a nice bit of flair, especially if you're there on a Thursday or Friday. On the flip side, the kitchen does close a tad early some evenings, so it's worth checking if you're planning a later dinner. Plus, in such a buzzing area, it can get a bit crowded, but that's the price of a popular spot, isn't it? All in all, it's a solid choice for anyone wanting a taste of traditional pub life with a modern twist – I'd say give it a go if you're in the neighbourhood.

Being in a fashionable area like Knightsbridge, it could get quite busy at peak times, making it tricky to snag a table without booking.

Love this Pub! We celebrated My Husband's Birthday Party on the top floor, great atmosphere, food and service was excellent. James and his Team couldn't do enough to make our evening a success. Attentive, Friendly & Welcoming! Thoroughly & Highly Recommend. Well done Bx!
Nice place to grab a bite for lunch. The sausages and mash was quite good. My wife wanted something simple so the toasted ham and cheese was good for her. Friendly staff.
Ordered beer and Sunday roast. Nice quiet restaurant up stairs, not blasting loud awful music. Got to eat in peace and quiet. Food was great. Yorkshire pudding done to perfection.
Service quick and friendly.
Happy to recommend.
The Brompton Cross is a fantastic neighborhood pub with a welcoming atmosphere. The place maintains a lively yet relaxed vibe and the prices are reasonable for the area. The staff are friendly. A great spot to unwind with a drink in a classic London setting.
Grabbed dinner here on a Friday night and enjoyed the experience. The sausage and mash along with the salad with beet were good. Our server was friendly and patient as we’d never been to the establishment prior.
No complaints and enjoyed our dinner visit.
