About This Pub
You know, when you step into The Bridge in Blackpool, it's got this warm, homely buzz that just draws you in – think lively karaoke nights and live music that get everyone joining in, making for some proper memorable evenings. The drinks are reasonably priced, and it's a solid choice if you're after a relaxed spot to catch up with friends or even bring the family along for a bite. On the flip side, I've heard a few tales of staff not quite hitting the mark, like being a bit brusque or ignoring folks at the bar, which can really take the shine off an otherwise good time. Still, with its community feel and decent offerings, it's worth giving it a go if you're in the area – just keep your expectations in check and you'll likely have a cracking visit.

Stumbled across this local pub whilst heading back to our hotel.
For the Karen's and tourists, you know it's a proper local pub when there's a welcoming committee standing in the entrance smoking and nattering.
Upon entering the relatively busy pub, which had 90s dance music playing and people of various ages sitting around chatting and enjoying their evening we headed to the bar.
It seemed as though the barman was part of the welcoming committee outside, but quickly returned to take our order, no biggie, he's entitled to a cig break.
Once back behind the bar he asked what we wanted to drink, the cheeky chap tried to upsell us on doubles whilst joking that we were being "boring".
Overall a cracking barman laughing and joking with all customers.*
*N.B. this is called banter and was once a common thing in public houses but is now a rarity due to people being offended by the slightest thing.
We ordered a pint of lager and a disaronno/amaretto and coke, the total for both being WAY under £10 and an absolute bargain.
We sat down and enjoyed our drinks whilst admiring the funny anecdotes on the walls and the memorial corner which we thought was a lovely touch.
Overall the pub was nicely furnished, welcoming enough, background music that wasn't too loud and prices that were reminiscent of the good old days!!
May not be everyone's cup of tea, but if you want tea, try Jimmy's Cafe not The Bridge Pub ;-)
8.5/10
We only stayed for one drink but it seemed to be a decent boozer.
Advertises as open until midnight - arrived on the dot at 10pm to a place fully illuminated externally to be told unceremoniously "WE'RE CLOSED"
Yeh so much for 'supporting our scene' - we won't bother next time.
Fantastic night out, manager calvin was brilliant , remembered most of our round ,19 of us , it was my 60th birthday , will definitely be back .
Went here as off the main drag. And not a Ma Kelly's. Karaoke was on, good crowd, obviously a few locals in. Heard Sunny singing and he was top notch. Pint decent and a good price. Would return.
Went in for a pint and I have never met such a rude barmaid in all my life. She ignored us several times and then when she finally asked us what we wanted she put her hand up at us and started to serve from what I presume was a local instead even though we were there well before them. She served our pints with half a pint of froth and in the wrong glasses. As a barmaid myself, I notice when a bar is kept tidy and the bar was so messy, with cups on the floor and half used stuff across the bar and the atmosphere just felt really weird.
