About This Pub
Oh, let me tell you about The Blue Bell – it's one of those pubs that just warms you up from the moment you step inside. From what I've gathered from the buzz around it, the staff are an absolute delight; they're friendly, quick to help, and really make you feel at home, much like how they impressed folks with their top service on a few visits. The food? Well, it's spot on – think perfectly cooked roasts and cocktails that are just stunning, all at a moderate price that doesn't break the bank. It's ideal for a casual drink or even a birthday bash in their private room, with a relaxed atmosphere that's perfect for unwinding. But, to be fair, it's not without its little niggles; the website's a bit of a mess, so you might struggle to get the lowdown online, and the opening times could do with being clearer to avoid any mix-ups. Still, with such high praise from recent visitors – raving about the quality and the good times – I'd say it's well worth a stop if you're in Warrington. All in all, it's a solid choice for a proper pub experience, balancing the good with the not-so-good in a way that feels honest and approachable.
Pros and Cons
Pros
-
The staff are absolutely brilliant – always friendly, attentive, and go the extra mile to make you feel welcome, just like Stacey and Georgina did for those lucky visitors.
-
The food and cocktails are top-notch; think stunning drinks and freshly cooked meals that hit the spot, with roasts and pub grub that's full of flavour and great value.
-
It's a lovely spot for a relaxed catch-up or a special occasion, with a chilled atmosphere and even private rooms for celebrations, making it feel just right for a good night out.
Cons
-
The website seems a bit unreliable with some errors, which might make it tricky to check out menus or events before heading over.
-
Operating hours look a tad confusing from what's listed, so you might want to double-check to avoid any surprises if you're planning a visit.
-
It's your typical pub setup, so if you're after something really unique or fancy, it might not stand out as much, and that bit about kids near the casino machines could feel a bit off for some.

Absolutely stunning cocktails! Staff were amazing and friendly. We called in for a couple of drinks before home. We will be coming back for food 😋
This was our first visit for food today and it was excellent. The customer service is outstanding and Stacey, Georgina and the team are fantastic and go above and beyond to make your visit a happy one.
The food is all freshly cooked for you and it shows. Excellent quality meals and will definitely leave you full. If you're really hungry, try the bell tower burger, it's huge. The pie and chips was beautiful (the chunky chips are amazing).
This is somewhere we will definitely be visiting again and hopefully we'll get to try the Sunday roast next time. Definitely a 10/10 from us.
On a rare day with no kids me and my partner stumbled accidentally this little gem of a place. I must say we were not disappointed! The food was lovely and service was good. Such a lovely chilled little place and the portion sizes were just perfect.
For the price of a 3 course meal also I honestly have to say we will return to the explore a bit more than the lunchtime menu.
That was the best roast dinner I’ve eaten in a long time! I would definitely recommend I had both a mix of beef and turkey and it was cooked perfectly and the flavours were amazing too
Decent pub. Decent drinks. Food is the typical pub food. We were celebrating a birthday to a mate here, with a private room booked for us.
Staff were attentive, the drinks are reasonably priced and the atmosphere is OK.
Kids using the casino machines was quite a sightseeing, but I guess that's to be expected in the uk? :)
