About This Pub

Oh, let me tell you about The Bell on the Green – it's one of those hidden gems that really warms your cockles, especially if you're in the mood for some seriously tasty Indian food in a proper pub setting. From what I've gathered from folks who've been there, the curries and starters are just spot on, with heaps of flavour and portions that leave you more than satisfied, all at prices that won't break the bank. The staff go out of their way to make sure everything's just right, which adds to that homely feel, and there's a nice beer garden for soaking up the fresh air with a cold pint. It's brilliant for all sorts of occasions, whether you're grabbing a quick bite or planning a family gathering. On the flip side, though, the hours can sometimes wrap up earlier than you'd like, and if you're expecting a full-on traditional pub crawl, it leans more towards the Indian restaurant side of things. Still, it's a solid choice overall, especially if you're nearby Heathrow – I'd say give it a go for a balanced, enjoyable night out that won't disappoint.

Pros and Cons

Pros
  • The Indian food here is an absolute delight – packed with flavour, generous portions, and incredible value for money, making it a standout choice for a hearty meal.
  • The staff are incredibly attentive and friendly, always ready with a smile and quick service that makes you feel right at home, whether you're popping in for a pint or a full dinner.
  • It's got a great mix of traditional British pub classics alongside that top-notch Indian menu, plus a cosy beer garden and games room for a relaxed vibe after your meal.
  • Being near Heathrow, it's super convenient for travellers or locals, with affordable drinks and a welcoming atmosphere that's perfect for casual get-togethers or even events like birthdays.
Cons
  • The operating hours can be a bit inconsistent or early on some days, which might cut short your evening if you're hoping for a late-night session.
  • While the Indian food steals the show, the pub side feels a tad secondary, so if you're after a purely traditional British pub experience, it might not quite hit the mark.
  • Its location in Feltham could be out of the way if you're not in the area, meaning it might not be the easiest spot to reach without a car or public transport.

This was a great find! Staff were so attentive, drink and food was so reasonably priced and oh my — the food was INCREDIBLE. value for money, taste, price. I can’t wait to go back! Food portions, well flavoured, excellent service. Even little extras like different types of take home containers for different portions. If I ever come back to the area, I will 100% revisit, and have already recommended to friends and family.

Staying at the Holiday Inn Terminal 4, We looked for a pub showing live football, Found the H21 stop 9 at terminal 4 goes to this pub, stops outside just a 5 minutes journey and £1 ticket. Sunday lunch time and it was showing live football, friendly bar staff, Great menu including Indian dishes which smelt lovely, As dinner booked just had some snacks, If staying at Heathrow, this is a great pub for food and live sports.

Great Indian Food (Usual pub fare also available). Fast friendly service. Clean and comfortable venue. Cheaper than average beer and cider. Can't ask for much more.

Out of this world!!!! Had a stop-over in London for the night and was looking for a local pub and our host suggested The Bell on the Green. All I can say is WOW! They have a standard pub menu with burger and fish n chips but the Indian menu was off the chart!! So many tasty options I did the milder Butter Chicken curry and my husband got the Chilli Chicken curry with egg-fried rice and garlic butter naan (bread). When I say they mouth watering I’m not joking, the flavors brought warmth to your tastebuds and warmed you on a cold winter night. We stuffed ourselves with food, beer and enjoyed the cozy bar atmosphere. The pub was busy I assume with locals and regulars that were there watching football ⚽️ and playin pool. Our server and what appeared to be the manager on duty stopped at our table multiple times to check in on us and meet our every need. Can’t recommend enough, we return in 2 weeks and can’t wait to dine there again!!

Unfortunately my husband and I were in England for just two days because we wished we could’ve stayed longer just to try everything on the menu. Literally the best Indian food we’ve ever had ! And my husband is Indian ! Ate there two days in row and it just wasn’t enough, we’re still raving about it. Must try if you are in the area. I hope to have a layover in Heathrow again just to eat here!
