A great pub with a good choice of ales, lagers and wines, plus the usual spirits. Lots of space inside and out, and also dog friendly, which is very handy. Excellent food that is better than your usual "pub grub." Friendly atmosphere at all times, and there are regular pub quizzes for those who are interested. Highly recommended.

The staff helped me organise a wake. They were very helpful and supportive at this sad time. The venue was perfect with outside seating as well. The food was excellent with lots of choice for vegetarians. I could not have asked for more and would like to give a big thank you to Peter and the wonderful staff at the Apple Tree for their excellent customer service.

Amazing! Food was the best I’ve tasted in a long time. Everywhere was so clean - no sticky tables, or menu’s. Cutlery was spotless. Atmosphere was lovely, relaxed, and not killed by disco volume music that makes conversation impossible. Staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. I will definitely visit again! Thank you

We've eaten here several times recently while visiting family in the area. The food has been delicious. There's a good choice of well kept cask ales, and a decent range of wines by the glass. The most important thing here though is the team. Everyone who we've dealt with has been friendly and helpful, and they all seem to genuinely understand good customer service.

Ordered the 3 course meal for under £15 and got a drink too. Was quite surprised on the quality of the food, massive portion of garlic bread for starter and pasta very tasty for main meal. Lovely brownie for desert. Ordered using the online system was very easy to use.
