Nice friendly pub and the beer was excellent don’t think they do food
This is definitely a locals pub but I have always been made to feel very welcome. Lovely cosy atmosphere, jukebox, friendly punters and good pool table (Although a little tight in places)
Lady behind the bar (possibly the landlady) is lovely and extremely accommodating. 5 stars all round
Great afternoon spent in the sun enjoying a cold glass of cider. Perfect location after a dog walk, water offered for the dogs also after their walk. Lovely place to play pool and have a drink on my doorstep. Proper pub, been coming here for years, lovely landlady and friendly staff
The best proper pub around! The garden is a good size with a little play area for the kids. They don’t serve food which is what I prefer as I feel a lot of pubs concentrate more on food these days. There is a pool table and juke box to enjoy.
The landlady is the best, she is bubbly, friendly and always welcomes me and the dog! She will serve us quickly then bring the dog some water! Good value and good atmosphere. It’s my go to pub every time!
Can't rate this pub enough, was there for a private party and was thrown back by how good the whole experience was. The Staff are fantastic and caring and really go the extra mile to help where possible. It's set out well, allowing enough space for groups of people and a decent sized bar which is always manned and ready to serve! Will be visiting again for sure and can't recommend enough.
