About This Pub
You know, when you step into The Alexandra Arms, it's got that proper pub charm that just feels right – the sort of place where you can settle in for a good chat over a pint. The staff are genuinely warm and make an effort to build that local community spirit, which really sets the tone. Their beers are a highlight; there's a nice variety, including some interesting gluten-free picks, and they're served up well without breaking the bank. As for the food, it's spot on for pub grub – think delicious burgers and hearty Sunday roasts with options for those watching their diet – though you'll want to time your visit around the kitchen hours to avoid disappointment. The beer garden is a lovely spot for sunnier days, and they've got the odd event like karaoke that adds a bit of excitement. On the downside, things can wind down earlier than you'd like, especially on Sundays, and if there aren't events on, it might not always buzz with energy. All in all, it's a reliable choice for a relaxed evening, but it's worth planning around to get the best out of it.

Nice pub with lovely staff who were friendly and i can see that why local people like this pub. Good beers kept very well on reasonable prices. nice seating area specially at the back and beer garden.
I love this pub. The staff are always friendly and make a huge effort to create a local pub atmosphere. Food is decent, especially the Sunday roasts, of which a gluten free / vegan option is possible. Always excellent beer with interesting options and good prices.
Nice burgers, friendly people and interesting beers - including a few Gluten Free options!
Recently had my 30th birthday party here. We hired out the outside room. The staff were great and allowed us to set up our own karaoke (which they said was hilarious). We ordered a buffet of Greek food which was lovely! Highly recommend booking this for party’s, or just enjoying a nice pint.
Very happy to have been here today. I saw it other times passing by, but never had the chance to stop by to grab a bite until today. I got the Celine Dion burger, a Canadian inspired burger with maple syrup bacon and goat cheese. It was amazing, with the goat cheese that literally melts in your mouth. My partner took the gammon and eggs and it was very tasty as well. The gammon was cooked/cured with a little bit of maple syrup that made the whole thing even better. I will go back again and try also the desserts!
