About This Pub

Ah, Terrace Bar – it's one of those understated gems in Milton Keynes that you might stumble upon and end up enjoying more than you expected. From what I've gathered from the chats online, it's got this warm, welcoming feel thanks to the staff who always seem up for a laugh and a chat. Picture yourself with a small group of friends, maybe 40 at most, soaking up the sun with a BBQ going – sounds like a proper British summer sorted! And being tucked away gives it that cosy, out-of-the-way charm, perfect for a relaxed evening. But, let's be straight, it's not all roses; the drinks do hit the pocket a bit harder than you'd hope, so if you're planning a big night, you might want to budget accordingly. Plus, there have been times when it's shut up shop without a word, which is a bit frustrating after a long walk to get there. Overall, with a solid 4.0 rating, it's worth a visit if you're in the area, but maybe check ahead to avoid any disappointments – just like you'd do before popping round a mate's for a pint.

Pros and Cons

Pros
  • The staff are really friendly and welcoming, which makes for a lovely atmosphere.
  • It's a great spot for small gatherings, like up to 40 mates, especially with that BBQ option on sunny days.
  • Tucked away nicely, so it's a peaceful little hideaway if you're after a quiet pint away from the hustle.
Cons
  • Drinks can be a bit pricey, so it might not be the best for those watching their wallet.
  • It sometimes closes unexpectedly without any notice, which can be a right nuisance if you've trekked out there.
  • The location's a fair walk from the main areas, so it might not suit everyone, especially on a rainy evening.

Good for small groups up to 40 people. BBQ in good weather. Drinks are not cheap reason for 4 star. Nicely tucked out the way. Staff are friendly.
