About This Pub
Oh, Taproom - Upminster, it's one of those places that just warms your heart the moment you step inside. From chatting with folks who've been there, the staff really stand out – they're so approachable and helpful, always ready with a smile and a spot-on recommendation for your drink. The beer selection is absolutely cracking, with a huge array of ales and ciders that you'd be hard-pressed to find elsewhere, and it's brilliant how they make sure there's something for everyone, whether you're into craft brews or something lighter. The vibe is just lovely too; it's cosy without feeling cramped, and they've got this quirky charm that makes it ideal for everything from a quiet pint to catching a live gig or comedy show. That said, the opening times can be a tad unpredictable, so you might want to plan ahead to make sure it's open when you fancy a visit. And with their website not being the most reliable, it could take a bit of effort to get the full scoop beforehand. All in all, it's a solid choice for a proper pub experience – I'd say give it a go if you're in the area, as the positives far outweigh any minor niggles!

Visited here to watch The Gleaves perform, small cosy friendly venue, staff were welcoming & accommodating. 1st visit here, would return 👍
Great beer and friendly staff that can help you with your selection. A very friendly atmosphere that makes you feel at home. I would highly recommend going and trying a few different beers!
Great evening of Comedy! Friendly staff, attentive (they fetch the drinks) and quirky interior, love this place
First class, great ale, caters to non-ale drinkers too. Service is friendly and quick
Is this the future of the British pub? I hope so! It's hard to find such a huge collection of ales and ciders anywhere in the UK. It's quite spacious for a 'micro', with plenty of seating and standing room. Very handy for Hornchurch FC on match days. Excellent!
