About This Pub
Ah, Spitfire Fun Vault – what a gem for anyone looking to kick back and have a proper laugh with their crew. From what I've gathered from the reviews and website, it's got this brilliant setup with loads of games like shuffleboard and darts that really get the energy going, and the food sounds spot on, with pizzas and bottomless brunches that leave you smiling. The staff come across as genuinely warm and attentive, which always makes a big difference when you're out for a good time. It's got that sports bar feel with big screens for live matches, making it a winner for footie fans or anyone up for some friendly competition. On the flip side, though, the opening times look a tad confusing with all those overlapping schedules, and being out in Darwen might not suit everyone if you're not local – could mean a bit of extra effort to get there. Plus, the costs for some activities add up, so it's best to keep an eye on your wallet if you're in for the long haul. Overall, it's a solid choice for a memorable night, but I'd say go in with a plan to make the most of it and avoid any surprises.
Pros and Cons
Pros
-
The games are an absolute blast – think shuffleboard, interactive darts, and beer pong; it's like having your own playground for a night out with mates.
-
Fantastic food and drinks deals, including bottomless brunch and pizzas that folks rave about, making it a top spot for a relaxed or lively gathering.
-
Friendly staff who go the extra mile, as mentioned in reviews, creating a welcoming vibe that's perfect for everything from date nights to group celebrations.
-
A great atmosphere with live sports on big screens and a mix of activities that keep things energetic and fun, especially for sports enthusiasts.
-
Regular offers and events like trivia nights that add an extra layer of excitement and make it feel fresh every visit.
Cons
-
The operating hours seem a bit muddled, with multiple listings for Sundays, which might confuse folks trying to plan a visit.
-
It's in Darwen, which is lovely but not the most central location, so it could be a trek if you're coming from further afield.
-
Prices for games like the private karaoke room or interactive darts might add up quickly, so it's worth budgeting if you're planning a longer session.
-
No recent reviews in the last six months, which makes me wonder if it's as buzzing as it used to be – always good to check before heading out.

Good food, good staff, always offers on. Great...👍
Nice bar with a good atmosphere and range of lagers. First visit but will go back, next time I'm up there
Had a Bottomless Brunch - food was great! But the best part of the day was the service! Beth was great, I wish there were more than 5 stars!
Best pizza I've had in a long time. Good atmosphere in the bar 👍🏻🍻
Great event space with daily offers and activities. A duel space with a club lounge downstairs and a lovely sports bar on the upper level. Pool tables, large screens and a wide selection of beverages makes for a fun atmosphere. Friendly staff and a central location only adds more to the well-rounded nature of this venue. Would recommend 100% 👍 Have a drink, have a dance, have a play 💫
