About This Pub
Ah, Skymaster – it's one of those pubs that just hits the spot for a laid-back get-together. From what I've gathered from the buzz around it, the place really shines with its family-friendly setup; imagine tucking into a hearty carvery with all the proper trimmings like homemade Yorkshire puds and seasonal veg, and it's especially ace for those who prefer veggie options. The staff go out of their way to make sure you're looked after, with quick service and a warm welcome that leaves you feeling chuffed. On the flip side, it's a tad frustrating that it's currently closed, so you'd want to check the timings before heading over, and there might be the odd glitch with their ordering app or the odd overcooked side, but overall, it's a gem for an affordable bite and a pint in the beer garden when the sun's out. If you're in Warrington, it's definitely worth popping in for a proper pub experience – just keep an eye on their schedule to avoid any disappointments!

Lovely atmosphere to have a family meal in. Attentive service from the girls and Alex. Hot food and fast service. All need’s accommodated so all 14 could eat together.
We were staying at the Travelodge a few minutes walk away, on our way to Somerset.
We both enjoyed our carvery meal. Carvery veg can be overcooked, but everything we had was good. Delicious brussels sprouts and cauliflower in particular. Husband enjoyed his roast potatoes very much. He said the apple crumble was good too - school dinner-style, but that's not a criticism :-)
Staff are very pleasant.
We are a vegetarian family who always visit to have a carvery. The staff are always really welcoming and we've never had a bad meal here. The carvery is exceptional, for vegetarians at least, I can't comment on the meat. The options are great. We will always be returning customers and often recommend Skymaster to friends.
Visited myself, husband, 2 sons, daughter in law and 2 year old granddaughter. We had booked a table and were seated straight away on arrival. We were offered a high chair for our granddaughter and given a children's menu without having to ask. Tried to order food and drinks on the app but husband said he couldn't find certain meals so he went to order at the bar (this was probably his fault as he is a total technophobe and useless with his phone 🤣🤣). Food arrived promptly and everything was hot and delicious. I had the beer battered fish & chips and it was fabulous. Lovely crispy batter, thick white fish which tasted delicious and wonderful crispy chips. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their food and there were clean plates all round. Our granddaughter loved her chicken dippers, chips and garden peas. There was a nice atmosphere and staff were very helpful and very friendly. All in all we had a really lovely evening and will definately be back again soon.
First visit today, again always drove past this place and curiosity got the better of us. Welcomed warmly and shown to our seats, place was clean and tidy and well presented, our jolly server talked us through how we can order at the bar or through the qr code which was amazing made the whole process very easy and took the stress of having 4 kids jumping around away knowing we could order what ever we needed without waiting for someone to come to our table. Carvery was tasty and well portioned even the kids carvery was massive and the mega mixed grill was delicious. 10/10 will visit again.
