You know, when I was having a look at Scufflers Cafe Bar & Sandwich Shop, it really struck me as one of those unassuming places that could brighten up your day with a solid brekkie or a quick sarnie. Most folks rave about the lovely breakfasts and teas that come out in no time, and the staff sound like they're always up for a chat, making you feel well looked after. It's got that easy-going vibe, especially with parking right there, which is handy if you're nipping in from the high street. But, and I have to be straight with you, there was this one review that was an absolute shocker – all about nasty, pale sausages that were gristly and cheap, with food spilling over drinks and key bits missing from the order. It makes me think it might not be perfect every time, but with a solid 4.6 rating from plenty of happy visitors, I'd say it's still worth giving it a go if you're in the area, just maybe stick to the toasties that everyone loves.
