About This Pub
Ah, Sanctuary – it's this cosy bar tucked away in Burnley that's got a real charm to it, based on what I've seen from the reviews. Folks are raving about the brilliant atmosphere and the tunes that keep the energy up, making it a top spot for a proper night out. The staff come across as genuinely helpful and warm, which always makes a difference when you're out for a pint or a game of pool. There's even a nice outdoor area for when you want to step out for a breather and catch up with your group, and it's all at an inexpensive price, so you won't feel the pinch. On the flip side, it's only open two days a week, which might leave you scratching your head if you're not around on those days – a bit of a shame for such a promising place. And while most reviews are glowing, there was that one mention of a small service issue, like a mix-up with getting water, so it's worth keeping in mind that things aren't perfect. Overall, if you're in the area and it's open, it's definitely one to check out for a balanced mix of fun and relaxation, but plan ahead to avoid disappointment.

Great bar, cool venue with friendly and helpful staff. Nice surrounding area and near places to eat/town centre.
Nice place for a night out, nice seating area outside to socialise with friends. Would recommend on a visit for a nice night out, plenty of music over 2 floors with downstairs being bar and pool 🎱 area.

This venue is lovely and the music there is amazing first time going to this venue even tho I am local, me and my boyfriend came in fancy dress and when we went to the bar to get tap water at fist we were given a cup that disappeared as someone collected it despite it being full, we then went to get another glass and were refused as we where not drunk and not with the band she then told us to give her our ID for tap water 🤣and that we would get kicked out if we were not over 18 despite it saying nowhere that the gig was 18+ then when we showed our ID we were still refused any water. Later that night a lovely lady went a go some water for us I was so excited coming to this venue as the other staff seem lovely and I love the music and the venue but really disappointed in that one girl on bar staff.
