About This Pub
You know, I had a great time at Sadler's Cat the other week, and it's just the sort of spot you'd want for a laid-back evening in Manchester. They've got this brilliant line-up of beers from Cloudwater, a local brewery, and it's all served up in a way that feels fresh and exciting – whether you're into cask ales or something a bit more adventurous. The beer garden is an absolute winner, especially when the weather plays ball, giving you that perfect outdoor space to unwind. The staff are dead chatty and make you feel welcome straight away, and the quirky decor with good music in the background really adds to the community feel. It's easy to pop in after a day out, being so close to Victoria Station and all. But honestly, there are a few downsides that keep it from being perfect – the toilets were a bit grim, with that musty smell and not everything in tip-top shape, which is a shame because it could spoil the end of your night. Still, overall, it's a solid choice for beer enthusiasts, and I'd say it's worth checking out for the positives alone, just keep an eye on those little niggles and you'll have a brilliant time.

Amazing beers on tap, friendly staff, good music and quirky decor
Nice location. Spacious and located in central Manchester. Near Victoria train station. I like it and a great selection of beers and cocktails. However there are few things that could do with improving, mainly Toilet are all very very smelly. Hand dryer is not working. Sanitary box is auto-powered which is very nice and thoughtful. There is no food menu. It’s a good bar. Would like to come back to check whether it improve or not.
Fun little bar in the middle of corporate Manchester. Nothing decent on the bar but a good fridge. Smoked shitake mushroom stout is a winner!
Craft beer bar run by Manchester brewery Cloudwater. Cask beer well kept and excellent keg selection. Toilets were absolutely filthy with literal fungus growing in it.
Excellent pub serving Cloudwater (a Manchester brewery) beers on draft and keg. Originally opened as a pop-up bar called the Pilcrow, but it became so popular that it became a permanent fixture. Large outdoor seating is perfect for those rare days when the sun comes out.
