About This Pub
Oh, the Rose & Crown in Bristol is one of those pubs that just warms your cockles, you know? From what I've gathered from chats with others, it's got this fantastic mix of a traditional bar feel with a modern twist, and that sunny garden is an absolute gem for whiling away an afternoon with a pint or a bite. The beer selection is spot on, with plenty of local options that pair brilliantly with the food – think delicious roasts and burgers that have folks raving, especially when enjoyed outside in the fresh air. The staff really shine here; they're so attentive and make you feel like a regular from day one, which adds to that cosy, community vibe. But, to keep it real, there was a mention that some dishes, like the roast, could do with a bit more heft in the portions, so if you're popping in after a long walk, you might fancy an extra side or two. All in all, it's a solid spot for a relaxed catch-up with mates, and with its high marks from the crowd, I'd say it's well worth a visit for anyone looking for a proper pub experience in Bristol.

Right I love this pub, great selection of beer.
How ever would avoid the roast if you like a good serving of protein.
Really tasty but just lacked the protein volume.
This venue is an absolute diamond. Beautiful inside & outside in the garden. Fabulous food and superb wines 🥂
The friendly staff & welcoming atmosphere are a credit to this pub plus a HUGE SHOUT OUT to The Manager, DAN 👑 for his continuous hard work & his big cheesy smiles when engaging with his customers... He's THE JEWEL in this 'Crown' 👏👏👏🏆🥇
Highly recommend you pop in to see for yourself, you'll be happy you did 😁

We have had a roast here twice now and always great food. Great to be able to enjoy the lovely garden in the sunshine while having a proper Sunday roast. One beef and one pork and clean plates at the end. Yum.
Very nice venue. Staff are very welcoming and Dan was always around checking everything was ok and if we needed anything.
Family friendly. And did see they have entertainment on too.
Nice chilled vibe.
Called in on a whim to this local pub and was very surprised by the friendly atmosphere and very clean surroundings. The burgers we had were excellent and the service by staff in particular Lucy was beyond reproach.
There is a well stocked bar and a pleasant outdoor garden area to chill out.
Will definitely visit again when in the area.
Popped in on a rainy weekday morning and was served by the lovely Lucy. They hadn't had their cake delivery yet so Lucy kindly asked the chef if I could have one if their puddings instead. The pudding was delicious and Lucy really looked after me, watching my laptop whilst I popped to the bathroom. Great service, tasty food - great place to get a little work done. A lush local pub to have in the area. Thank you Lucy.
