Totally recommend this place, especially if you have kids. The outdoor area is fab and our three kids couldn’t get enough. Brilliant service, ample parking and delicious food complimented the experience and we’d be happy to come back when we’re next in the area

Had a great experience here, 3 courses all served in less than an hour. I ordered a Soup which today was Carrot and Coriander and it was delicious. The pan fried Cod main was fantastic and I just couldn't leave the sauce alone. We ordered a Eton Mess and Apple Crumble for dessert and had half each, both were equally as good. All of it fairly priced too! Definitely a place to go back to.

Wow, what a gem of place. Hunting for food whilst stopped in Kendal and, well, we went back on our second night for more. Friendly attentive staff and delicious food with good portions. Good selection of beers too. Proper chunky chips, nice 'n crispy. Excellent burgers, tastes of well seasoned beef. The pie was excellent, good selection of 'comfort food' deserts. Loved it.

We stayed overnight in one of the apartments and it was a great experience. The apparent was very unique and had some great features. It had everything you needed except a hair dryer. But I am sure there would have been one available if really needed. The pub was also lovely and not overpriced. Definitely would recommend to anyone.
