About This Pub

Ah, Raleside Brewhouse – what a gem tucked away near Blackpool's train station! From what I've gathered from the reviews, it's got this warm, inviting atmosphere that's perfect for unwinding after a day out, with a train-themed decor that adds a fun touch. The staff really shine through; they're friendly and clued up on the drinks, making you feel right at home as soon as you walk in. Plus, the food sounds spot on – think hearty paninis and toasties that hit the spot, especially with options to watch the latest sports on the big screen. It's got a solid 4.6 rating, and recent reviews are even higher, with people raving about the custom ales and that clever luggage service, which is a lifesaver if you're travelling. On the flip side, it's mostly keg beers on offer, so if you're a purist for cask ales, you might find it a tad lacking. And with not too many reviews out there, it hasn't quite hit the mainstream yet, which could mean it's overlooked by some. Still, for a relaxed pint or a quick meal, I'd say it's worth a visit – just pop in and see for yourself, as it's open most days from around 8am till late evening.

Pros and Cons

Pros
  • The location is spot on, right next to Blackpool's train station, making it super convenient for a quick stop or to drop off luggage if you're grabbing a bite.
  • Staff are incredibly friendly and knowledgeable about the beers, which really adds to the welcoming feel – it's like chatting with mates who know their stuff.
  • They've got a great selection of beers, including their own IPA, and the atmosphere is lovely with a train theme that ties in nicely with the surroundings.
  • Food options are spot on, with tasty choices like paninis and toasties, and it's all served in a comfortable setting with big screens for catching the sport.
  • Overall, it's got a cracking vibe and high ratings from folks who've visited, making it a reliable choice for a relaxed pint or meal.
Cons
  • The beer selection is mostly keg-based, which might disappoint if you're after a wider range of cask ales – it's a bit limited for the real ale enthusiasts.
  • With only around 47 reviews so far, it feels like it could use a bit more buzz to really establish itself, though the ones there are glowing.
  • The website seems a tad unreliable based on what I've seen, so you might have to rely on word of mouth or a quick visit to get the full scoop.
  • Operating hours vary a bit, which could be confusing if you're planning ahead, and it's not specified how pricey things are, so budget accordingly.

Nice bar selling a handful of beers mainly on keg ,nice knowledgeable staff as well ,situated next to Blackpool's train station ! They do a luggage holding service for people using the station and I believe it was free if you ate a meal there ?? Interesting !!

The second of two cracking ale venues at this end of town today. An absolute antidote to the usual suspect ***tholes in Blackpool. Very pleasant welcome from the team, comfortable wearing with a roomy covered terrace. Had a pint of their own ipa, very quaffable.

What a great place directly facing Blackpool north train station. It is train themed with timetables for the trains on display. Nice atmosphere and friendly place, big TV to keep track of sport and the themed named food is amazing with really good selection. Custom ales and beers add to the experience even more.

First visit to Raleside Brewhouse in Blackpool. Situated very close to the station, they offer left luggage and have live departures on display, they also have Sky Sport on the big screen. Varied menu with toasties, paninis accompanied by salad a crisps. Fries for an extra £2. The hot beef panini was very enjoyable, so too was their coffee. A flat white cost £3.25.
