About This Pub
Ah, Radcliffe Arms – it's one of those pubs that really sticks in your mind for all the right reasons, based on what folks have been saying. From what I've gathered from the reviews, it's got this warm, inviting vibe that's perfect for a laid-back evening. Sue and the team sound like absolute gems, always going the extra mile to make you feel welcome, and the food? Well, it's spot-on – hearty, tasty dishes at prices that won't leave you out of pocket. Plus, it's super dog-friendly, which is a bonus if you're out for a walk in the countryside. The overall rating of 4.4 is no fluke; people rave about the roaring fires in winter and the great selection of Sam Smith's beers. But, and it's a big but, it's closed at the moment with some work happening on the entrance, so you might have to hold off on that visit for now. It's a pity because it seems like a real hidden gem in Folifoot, but once it's back up and running, I'd say it's well worth checking out for a proper pub experience. Just keep an eye out for updates, as info is a bit sparse online.

As one of the best Sam Smith's pubs in the area, it's got a solid reputation for quality beers and a genuine village pub feel.
Cons
-
It's currently closed, which is a real shame as there's some work going on at the entrance, but no word on when it'll reopen.
-
Not much in the way of online info – no website or phone number listed, so it's tricky to keep up with what's happening.
-
Reviews have dried up recently, with the latest ones from a few years back, making it hard to gauge if things are still as brilliant as they were.
-
No operating hours available, which means you might turn up and find it shut, adding to the uncertainty.

Noticed today - 13th November 2024 - some work being done on the entrance - so this lovely pub may be opening again soon.

Fantastic village pub, great service, Sue is the most welcoming Landlady I've ever met. Food is superb and great value. Probably the best Sam Smiths pub in the area. Definitely worth a visit. 5 stars.
Wonderful traditional pub with roaring fires in winter. Great food and very dog friendly too. We could say now we are "regulars"
Sue and Dave who run the pub and know you by name are the perfect hosts. Nothing is too much trouble. Feels like a home from from home but with great Sam Smith's beers! Visit once and you'll definitely be back! Highly recommended.
Great pub. Good food and drink. Lovely staff. Nice little country pub.
Traditional English Sam Smith's pub with staple food at reasonable prices. Friendly service. Worth trying.
