About This Pub
Ah, the Priory Tavern in Kilburn – it's one of those pubs that just feels like a proper British gem, you know? Tucked away in a quiet spot near the station, it's got this welcoming traditional vibe that makes you want to settle in for the evening. I love how they've nailed the food side of things; their Sunday roasts are spot-on with perfectly cooked meats and crunchy roast potatoes, and the burgers are a real treat – no wonder they're award-winning. Plus, with a solid range of craft ales and cocktails, it's easy to find your perfect drink. It's also brilliant for families, with board games to keep everyone happy, and the staff are genuinely lovely, always ready with a smile and attentive service. That said, it's not without its little downsides; the kitchen tends to shut up shop a bit early, which could be a nuisance if you're out late, and if you're after a more energetic crowd, it might come across as a tad subdued. All in all, though, it's a cracking spot for a relaxed meal or catch-up with friends – I'd say give it a go if you're in the area, as it's got that heartwarming pub charm that makes you want to return.

-
One reviewer hinted at a minor issue, though it didn't seem to spoil the experience much – perhaps something small like service quirks, but overall it's not a big deal.

Traditional pub atmosphere. Family friendly and comfortable. Burgers are delicious! Lots of board games - our kids loved it. The owner and staff are very kind. We made a stop part of our daily routine after exploring London. Highly recommend!
Went to see some amazing soul and jazz at the great local boozer which is the priory tavern Kilburn! Great service and a warm friendly atmosphere
We had Sunday lunch there yesterday, and the food was impeccable. We started with a freshly made bloody mary with fresh horseradish, which was so, so good, with perfect levels of spice. The roast beef was awesome - so many thick slices and perfectly cooked with a hint of pink, roast potatoes crunchy on the outside and soft inside, roast parsnips almost caramelised, amazing gravy, great cabbage, wonderfully punchy homemade horseradish creme fraiche and perfectly cooked carrots. Slow-cooked pulled lamb with homemade mint sauce was incredible too. Everything was delicious, service was quick and friendly - we couldn't fault a thing. We're so lucky to have this lovely pub as our local.
Really great eating experience. I went twice during my five day trip in London. The burgers were delicious and I enjoyed the ambience. The servers were very accomodating and attentive to my party. For this to be a neighborhood bar, it also doubles as a nice dining night out. My only issue, albeit very minimal, was the amount of fries. I wish there'd been more, but that's probably a culture thing on my part. I would visit again.
Just been in for some food after a day of travelling. Treated myself to a steak and just hoped it was edible to be honest. It was the most succulent perfectly cooked rib eye with homemade horseradish and a watercress and caper salad. Was delicious, my daughter had a burger and ate it all! Nice atmosphere and good beer selection. Can’t wait to come back.
