About This Pub

Ah, Wolfpack West Hampstead – it's one of those pubs that just draws you in with its warm, community feel, inspired by the local neighbourhood and all about that camaraderie over a pint. I love how they've nailed the beer side of things; their own brews like the House Lager and Sesh IPA are fresh and full of flavour, and with options for craft lovers, it's a proper haven if you're keen on exploring new ales. The staff are an absolute delight, always up for a chat and making sure everything runs smoothly, which really adds to the welcoming atmosphere. Plus, if you're a sports nut, you'll be in your element with all the live screenings – it's buzzing during match days, and the outdoor areas are brilliant for soaking up the sun while cheering on your team. The food's straightforward but satisfying; think juicy burgers and wings that pair perfectly with a cold beer, and they've got some cracking deals that make it wallet-friendly. On the flip side, though, it can get a bit hectic if you're after a peaceful evening, and if you turn up late, the kitchen might already be shut, which could leave you scrambling for options. All in all, it's a solid spot for a fun night out with mates, especially if you fancy joining in on events like the pub quiz – just plan ahead for the food, and you'll have a whale of a time!

Pros and Cons

Pros
  • The beer selection is absolutely spot on, with their own Wolfpack brews and a bunch of guest options that make it a real treat for any ale enthusiast.
  • The staff are so welcoming and friendly; they really make you feel right at home from the moment you walk in.
  • It's got a brilliant atmosphere, especially if you're into watching live sports – they've got screens for all the big games, from rugby to football.
  • The outdoor seating is fantastic for a sunny day, whether it's the front garden or the back area, perfect for enjoying a cold one al fresco.
  • The food hits the spot with simple yet indulgent options like smash burgers, chicken wings, and pizzas, and they've got some great deals too.
  • They host fun events like pub quizzes, which add a lovely community vibe and make it easy to have a laugh with mates.
Cons
  • The kitchen can close a bit early sometimes, so if you're popping in late, you might miss out on food and have to bring your own or go elsewhere.
  • It can get quite lively and energetic, which is great for sports fans but might not suit those after a quiet, cosy chat over a pint.
  • The menu is straightforward and focused on pub classics, so if you're after something more adventurous or fancy, it might feel a tad limited.

I haven't personally eaten the food yet but I have heard it was good. This is a nice little pub with a good atmosphere and friendly staff. It has a garden in the front for smoking and TV inside for the football.

Lovely burgers, with a great selection of beers! They have their own brewery selection and some guest beers. Nice outdoor seating in the front and plenty of space at the back. Plus they've got screens for all the sports...definitely worth a visit...

Great beer selection, including many craft, around 15. We arrived when the kitchen was closed, and they allowed us to to bring some pizzas from somewhere else and eating them in the terrace area. Great vibe and sports on TVs
