About This Pub
Ah, the Prince of Wales in Chorley – it's one of those local spots that really pulls you in with its friendly buzz and down-to-earth charm. You'll find the staff are spot on, always up for a chat, and the place buzzes with live entertainment like karaoke nights and open mic sessions, which make for some memorable evenings. Plus, with HD screens blasting out all the major sports and a solid range of real ales at prices that won't sting your wallet, it's easy to see why folks keep coming back for a relaxed pint or to catch the game. On the flip side, though, it's a bit of a shame that the decor feels so dated and in need of a spruce-up – some have even had odd experiences, like dodgy drinks, which takes the shine off. And with no food on offer these days, it might not be the full package for everyone. All in all, it's a decent haunt for a casual get-together, but I'd say it's worth a visit if you're in the area, just keep expectations realistic and maybe pair it with a bite from nearby.

In need of a refurb. Tired is an understatement. Uncorked wine bottle with screwdriver, 6imch screw and a claw hammer
Excellent place for a drink and they have real ale on. Very friendly staff.
Doesn’t serve food anymore but great atmosphere karaoke Thursday afternoon and Friday and Saturday night, live singers on a Sunday great place cheap drinks also
Brilliant pub with welcoming atmosphere, open mic night was fab
We visited about 4 or 5 weeks ago weeks ago. I had a burger, to be fair it was not great. Almost cold burger and very few chips! The wife had steak which she said was quite tough. We have been in the past and meals were nice however we've not returned since.
It's a shame as it's been ok in the past. Staff were friendly and nice enough. Just the food was a let down.
